Ε, ε(그리스어: έψιλον 엡실론 )은 그리스 문자의 다섯 번째 글자이며, 엡실론으로 부른다. 그리스 숫자에서는 5를 나타낸다. Ε의 이름은 원래 'ε'였는데 뒤에 똑같은 소리로 나게 된 'αι'와 구분하기 위해 '단순한 ε'라는 뜻의 'ε ψιλόν'으로 바뀌어, 그것이 지금의 이름이 되었다. 로마 문자 E는 여기에서 비롯되었다.
